This work considers the inevitable shifting of the ground beneath our feet--- literally of Earth itself, metaphorically of our mutable human condition as we tread upon it. The textures of rock reflect its, and our, fluid origins along with its cumulative accretion and erosion, its distortions, interruptions, and shifting layers.
